The Indian lion, also known as the Asiatic lion, is a subspecies found only in India's Gir Forest. They are smaller than African lions, with a distinctive belly fold and tufted tail, and are an important part of India's cultural heritage. Gir National Park, also known as Sasan Gir, is a prominent National park located in Saurashtra, Gujarat. It is famous as home to the Asiatic lion and one of India's most important conservation areas.The best time to visit is during the months of Mid October - Mid June. It's located at distance of 165 kms from Rajkot.

Devalia Safari Park, also known as the Gir Interpretation Zone, is a protected area and an extension of the Gir National Park in Gujarat. It is designed to provide visitors a chance to experience the flora and fauna of Gir without venturing deep into the main sanctuary. This park is especially famous for its population of Asiatic Lions.

Shahi Qila Jaunpur Fort : A memorable trip with family

Shahi Qila, also known as Karar Fort or Jaunpur Fort, is a fort built during the 14th century in Jaunpur district of Uttar Pradesh. The fort is located close to the Shahi Bridge on the Gomti river. Constructed by Ibrahim Naib Barbak, a chieftain of Firoz Shah Tughlaq, it was built using the material owned by temples and palaces of the Rathore kings of Kannauj. The fort was destroyed multiple times by rulers, including the Lodhis and the British Empire. It went through extensive renovations and repairs during the rule of the Mughal Empire.

जौनपुर का पुराना शाही किला एक खूबसूरत पर्यटन स्थल है। अब तो सिर्फ किला के अवशेष बचे हैं, पर इसके अंदर प्राकृतिक छटा देखते ही बनती है। जौनपुर शहर में गोमती नदी के तट पर स्‍थि‍त इस दुर्ग का निर्माण फि‍रोज शाह तुगलक ने 1362 ई. में कराया था। इस किले के प्रवेश द्वार की ऊंचाई 36 फुट है तथा किले के भीतर का गेट 26.5 फुट ऊंचा और 16 फुट चौड़ा है। किला के भीतर एक बड़ा गेट और एक मस्जिद, तुर्की हम्माम, अन्य इमारतें है। हम्माम पर बने ऊंचे,नीचे गुंबद बहुत सुंदर ढंग से बनाये गये हैं। यह एक संरक्षित इमारत है। इस दुर्ग से गोमती नदी एवं जौनपुर शहर का मनोहर दृश्‍य दि‍खायी देता है।
